Terms of Service

Version 2.0 · Last Updated: October 28, 2026

AcadXplore is a mobile app and website owned and operated by AJC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in India (“AcadXplore”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and AJC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED governing your use of the AcadXplore student app, the AcadXplore Partner app, our website and related services (together, the “Platform”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Platform you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. If you accept on behalf of an institute, business or other organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. What AcadXplore Does

AcadXplore is a discovery and enquiry platform. Students and parents (“Students”) can search and compare colleges, schools, coaching institutes, tutors, courses and PG accommodation, save favourites, share their profile and documents, send applications, enquiries and callback requests, and message providers. Education providers and accommodation owners (“Partners”) can create listings, receive and manage leads and applications, and communicate with Students.

AcadXplore is a technology platform only. We are not a school, college, tutor, coaching institute, accommodation provider or admissions authority. We do not employ Partners, we do not make admission decisions, and we do not guarantee that any application, enquiry or request will result in admission, enrollment, accommodation or any particular outcome. Any arrangement, including fees, between a Student and a Partner is made directly between them and outside AcadXplore.

AcadXplore does not take any payment from Students or parents. We do not process course fees, tuition, admission fees, rent or deposits, we do not take a commission on them, and we do not make any payouts. Our only revenue from the Platform is the subscription fee paid by Partners (Section 5).

2.1 PG and accommodation listings

AcadXplore also lists paying guest (PG), hostel and similar student accommodation offered by independent PG owners. We only connect Students with PG owners; we do not own, manage, inspect, rent or guarantee any property, and we are not a party to any rental, tenancy, deposit or booking arrangement.

  • Rent, deposits, amenities, photos, house rules, availability and safety information are provided by the PG owner. We do not guarantee that they are accurate or up to date.
  • Visit the property, meet the owner and read any agreement before you pay a deposit or rent. Make payments directly to the owner and obtain a written receipt; AcadXplore does not collect rent or deposits and is not responsible for them.
  • PG owners must hold the right to let the property (for example ownership or landlord permission) and comply with applicable local laws, including safety, registration and tenant-verification requirements.
  • Any dispute about rent, deposits, refunds, condition, safety or eviction is between the Student and the PG owner. Contact local authorities in an emergency.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Platform with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. The Platform includes information for school-age learners, so a parent or guardian must create and manage the account of any child, and is responsible for the child's use of the Platform. You agree to provide accurate and current information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

3.1 Student accounts

Student accounts are free to use. You may sign up with email and phone verification or with Google Sign-In. You control which details and documents you share with a Partner when you apply or send a request.

3.2 Partner accounts

Partners must complete onboarding and verification (Section 7) before their listings go live. Partners must keep their information accurate and current and must have the right to offer the courses, services, facilities and fees they list. A Partner is responsible for the actions of its team members using its account.

Partners agree to respond to leads, applications and messages in good faith and in a timely way, to comply with applicable education, accommodation and consumer laws and regulations, to use Student information only to respond to the Student's request, and not to send unsolicited communications or sell or share Student data. A Partner that records a lead, callback or other personal data about a person must have the right to do so.

4. Applications, Enquiries and Messages

When you send an application, enquiry or callback request, you authorise us to share the relevant details and any documents you attach with the Partner you selected, as described in our Privacy Policy. Partners may contact you through the Platform, by phone or by email about your request. Only share information you are comfortable providing, and do not share passwords, payment card details or OTPs in messages. Do not send payments to anyone who contacts you claiming to represent AcadXplore; we do not collect fees from Students.

5. Partner Subscriptions and Payments

Students and parents pay nothing to AcadXplore. We charge Partners (colleges, schools, coaching centers, tutors, PG and hostel owners and course providers) a subscription fee for access to the Platform, and we do not charge a commission on any fees a Student pays a Partner. AcadXplore does not hold or transfer money between Students and Partners and offers no payout feature. Partners may purchase paid subscription plans that determine, for example, the number of leads they can receive. Plan names, prices, taxes, billing period (plans are currently billed monthly) and limits are shown in the Partner app before you pay.

  • Plans are recurring. After you subscribe, your chosen payment method is charged automatically in advance at the start of each billing period until you cancel. A free plan with limited features may also be available.
  • You can cancel a paid plan at any time in the Partner app (Subscription). The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. AcadXplore does not store full card numbers or UPI PINs.
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes, including GST where charged, and for ensuring your payment details are valid.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance and are not refunded for a partial billing period or unused leads, except where required by applicable law or stated at the time of purchase. For billing issues, contact us through the Contact Us page.
  • We may change plans and prices for future billing periods. We will not change the price of a period you have already paid for.

6. Reviews, Feedback and User Content

You may submit reviews, ratings, feedback, issue reports, messages, photos and documents (“User Content”). You keep ownership of your User Content, and you grant AcadXplore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and process it to operate and improve the Platform, and, for Partner listing content, to display it on the Platform and in connection with promoting it. Content that Partners submit for their listings is reviewed by AcadXplore before it is published, and we may reject, edit or remove it.

User Content must be honest, lawful and based on genuine experience. It must not be defamatory, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, discriminatory, misleading, spam, or infringe anyone's rights. Partners must not pay for or pressure Students into positive reviews. We may review, remove or restrict User Content and accounts that violate these Terms, and we may act on reports from other users. Report content or conduct through the in-app issue report option or the Contact Us page.

7. Partner Verification

We review the information and documents Partners submit, such as registration, identity, tax and affiliation documents, before approving a listing. Verification is a reasonable diligence step only. It is not a guarantee, certification or endorsement of the quality, safety, fees, recognition or outcomes of any Partner. Students should do their own checks before paying any fee or relying on a Partner's claims. We may suspend, remove or reject a Partner or listing at any time if information is inaccurate or these Terms are breached.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading or fraudulent information or documents;
  • Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent a Partner's affiliation or recognition;
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against or exploit any user;
  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes or to send spam or unsolicited promotions;
  • Scrape, copy or systematically extract listings or user data, or reverse-engineer the Platform;
  • Upload malware or interfere with the security or normal operation of the Platform;
  • Create multiple or fake accounts, or misuse referral or promotional features;
  • Use another person's personal data obtained through the Platform for any purpose other than responding to their request.

9. Referrals and Promotions

We may offer referral or promotional features from time to time. Their rules are shown where they are offered. We may change or end them, and withhold benefits where we reasonably suspect abuse or fraud.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, logos and the AcadXplore name, is owned by AJC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it without our written consent.

11. Third-Party Services and App Stores

The Platform uses or links to third-party services such as Google, Firebase, MSG91, Razorpay and Resend, and may link to Partners' websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply. If you download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support for the Platform.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Listing information is supplied by Partners and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or currency. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Partners are independent third parties and are solely responsible for their courses, services, accommodation, fees and conduct. Any dispute about instruction, admission, fees, refunds or accommodation is between the Student and the Partner.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AJC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED and its directors, employees and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, opportunity or educational outcomes, arising from your use of the Platform or any dealings with a Partner. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid to AcadXplore in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or INR 1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Suspension, Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account for students; Account settings for Partners) or by contacting us as described in our Privacy Policy. Deletion is permanent. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, harmed other users or the Platform, or acted unlawfully. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including those on payments owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and dispute resolution, will survive.

14. Grievance Redressal

Complaints about the Platform, User Content or these Terms can be sent to our Grievance Officer, Ajay Chouhan, at ajc.technologies.pvt.ltd@gmail.com or acadxplore@gmail.com or through the Contact Us page. We will acknowledge complaints and aim to resolve them within 30 days. Privacy-related complaints may also be sent to ajc.technologies.pvt.ltd@gmail.com or acadxplore@gmail.com.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first raise any concern with us so we can try to resolve it informally. If a dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be finally resolved by arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Bengaluru, India, in English. Subject to that, the courts at Bengaluru, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not required to be arbitrated. Consumers retain any rights under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Platform, the law or our business. We will post the updated Terms with a revised date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them.
